Salmon Glaze

Perfect salmon glaze made only with honey soy sauce. Finished with butter for a rich, silky taste and paired with asparagus for a balance.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 7 oz each)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 oz asparagus cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the sauce:

  • 8 tbsp Korean BBQ Sauce honey soy
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp butter

Optional & Garnish:

  • Chopped green onion
  • A piece of lemon

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1. Pat salmon fillets dry, season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat for 1 minute. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 3 minutes.
3. Flip salmon, add asparagus, sauce, and water. Cook for 1 more minute while basting the salmon with sauce.
4. Add butter and cook on low heat for 1 minute, mixing the sauce and spooning over salmon.
5. Plate and garnish with chopped green onion and lemon.
