Spicy Corn Chowder
A touch of spicy for the classic vegetarian soup
Ingredients (serves 2)
½ onion, chopped
½ carrot, diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 sprig thyme
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Russet potato, diced
2 corn cobs kernels
3 cups water
½ cup cream or half-and-half
1 Tbsp. Yondu Vegetable Umami
1 Tbsp. Yondu Spicy
How to make it

In a pot over medium heat, combine onion, carrot, pepper, celery, thyme, bay leaf and butter. Cook for 5 minutes

Add cornstarch, corn, potato, and mix.

Add water, cream, Yondu Vegetable Umami, Yondu spicy and bring to boil. Let is simmer for 20 minutes.
Tip
You can serve it with fresh cilantro on top for a touch of fresh aroma.
You can adjust level of spiciness any time by adding an extra drizzle of Yondu Spicy. Even at the table, you can pour a few extra drops for the real spicy lovers.
